The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 当克隆人获取了人类本体的身份，人类本体又算什么？一个类似于忒修斯悖论的哲学命题，一个难以说清的身份关系，以及无法割舍却又必须告别的人生。纵使科技几乎可以改变一切，但构成人类本质的特质，诸如灵魂、伦理、和情感的命题仍是我们无法逾越的关隘。山水空灵，景色宜人，智能科技，无所不在，可我们仍将为自己身为人类的身份而付出一切。

拍得很深沉，看得很犯困。美术设计倒是挺赞。
黑哥儿的演技真不是盖的！！！内心脆弱敏感易破防的人儿一定会在片尾潸然泪下，但是女主的这颜值...让我实在缺乏了与黑哥儿共情的能力……
画面干净，强迫症的审美，主题深刻，犹如一场宁静的心灵洗涤宴
软科幻背景下，没有多关注克隆的人伦道德，只专注了一个主题就是爱，设定比较老套，但感情还是实在的感受到了
聚焦於很小的切口上去展示這頗具顛覆性的設想，不置入太多的批判，只是讓兩個他去互相感知對方。男主內心的糾結與傷感，仿生人害怕被淘汰的恐慌，整個作品的命題，我們活著是為了他人還是自己？ 太棒了。
虽然对已经都能克隆人和复制记忆了，却还不能治愈疾病表示怀疑，但故事却很感人。本来以为会出现克隆人干掉原主掘取他的人生的恐怖桥段，好在没有，要不就是恐怖片了！
