插画画风，人物较为扁平，情绪不够饱满停留在表面，河童和地藏菩萨的设定蛮有意思的，最后一段打妖怪仿佛在过家家。
可以理解为是一个风景片。前后风格不一前面是暖心的救助，后面突然变成妖怪篇。

看电影里面的场景自己是很喜欢的，好有夏天的感觉呀；但是故事情节是自己没有想到的，又有了夏目友人帐那般与妖怪相处的友好；结局是美好的，那座在海边山上的房子真是让人羡慕啊。
