The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. D- / 好久没看到过这么无趣的公路片了，摸不透素材选取的思路，采用线性叙事又放弃叙事逻辑而改用场景拼贴，剪辑叙事和摄像各行其道，而影像又空洞而缺乏表现力，因此填充的配乐甚是露怯，和马力克比也差太远。

有人天生创作语言的美好，挺好。
美方，华裔导演女赵婷虽出自中国精英家庭，但其电影才华仍在中国难以施展。来到美国更自由的环境后，创作出了金狮奥斯卡级别的作品。无论种族性别，只要有理想才华总能在美国施展。
