The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 内容属于轻喜剧合家欢类型，讲真善美，勇敢做自己，适合小朋友
从什么时候开始人们不再真诚？
非常低幼非常简单的故事，但却比那种王子公主的童话故事更好，异类也能拥有爱，也有他存在的意义，孩子们都应该看看这样的故事

还是不错的，陪小朋友看最后变成自己看的津津有味，也是挺有意思的了
观感极差，从剧情到价值观都很有问题，也违背常识，有讨好动物保护主义之嫌，完全没了底线。小孩肆意妄为，家长一味放纵，爱能发电这种事，还是少点好。很难想象这么大一只犬类，没有经过驯服，就随意在街上跑动，多么危险，这如果加以管制就是不爱护动物，为何不爱护人呢？刻意塑造的反面角色实在奇怪，完全没必要。也有可能是我过了看童话的年纪了，完全不能理解了。
陪孩子看还好，小女孩差点哭了。但我不愿意陪她二刷……
蛮好看的喜剧片，实拍加动画制作是很费劲的，故事很治愈，只有独一无二的人才能改变世界，每个人心中都有一种善良(大红狗的神)，而它可以战胜一切苦难。
节奏稍显拖沓以至于结局全部用插画的形式讲述，比起帕丁顿熊，整个故事缺乏质感与细节，除了草坪追人就是救过一个邻居，到底为什么可以带来整个社区尤其是房东的变化这部分缺少过渡。用这样长的时间讲述的故事内容还是有点少了，整体而言还是一个老派的儿童故事。
巨大号红色拉布拉多和贵族学校“小公主”，要不是出现了喜欢女主的中国富二代，简直是几十年前的设定。
