The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 没有挂名续作，标题像是重启但故事时间线还是延续系列初代的25年后，接着影片里的改编作品『stab』8代的狗血上映而开启的故事。

虽然加入社会讽刺和迷影元素，但依然难逃为杀而杀为转而转的全面降智，面具杀手女连中数枪还可以站起来反杀毫发无损的男警官。另外，越来越ZZ正确的好莱坞应该再加一条恐怖片定律：身强体壮的男人都得死，女人不管娇小瘦弱病残都可以活到最后。
影片里借同名角色还开了纪念party。
导演很努力的想证明自己是个超级影迷，只是可惜了这部四不像的片子

毫无逻辑的各种杀人桥段，无意义的消费前作老演员，卖弄情怀之外这电影有什么存在的意义。
粉丝向电影，总体上不够客观，在我看来反派的动机不足，看个热闹得了。

烂中带点好笑，疯狂的自我玩梗，搞成喜剧片分还会高点
浪费时间。
弱智到发笑，电影院里响起了此起彼伏的笑声，我怀疑这是一个喜剧片…
近几年旧作重启比较好的续集之一了，groupies真的很烦
