The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 本来3星，看得我快睡着了，2星。很容易猜到那三个学生已经死了。
确实符合商业片的感觉，算挺好看。尤其是最后建塔攻关阶段拍得真不错
对建塔过程很有兴趣 对其中的爱情线并不喜欢 更何况是瞎编的情感…
说实在的修塔的部分少了点，单纯想知道这个结构的建筑要怎么封顶...
编剧这样瞎编，编故事前都不看看百度百科吗。很狗血的爱情故事，婚外情全被写的很唯美，难已置信，三观不正。反而全片没有太多描写埃菲尔铁塔。
有点意思，但也就仅此而已了，深究就有点经不起推敲了。

看到那些鬼手其实是带的黑手套，我就笑了...
怎么说呢...恐怖性到位，就是太乱了这个剧情，给我整得云里来雾里去的 最后金叔还一命呜呼了...
小成本电影，从头到尾黑魆魆的。应该是父母离异了，父亲莫名其妙狠狠殴打女儿，女儿突然变脸说“你再多打我一下，我就杀了你！”父亲愕然之间推了一把失手女儿，弄死了有多重人格的女儿，害怕事情暴露于是把女儿砌在屋里一扇暗墙里。没想到女儿根本没死呢！于是怨气冲天！化为厉鬼操控这栋房子里活着的人，告诉他们只有杀死这里其他人，你才能活着离开这里……于是一次次惨剧发生了。“死去的人永远也离不开这扇门！”
还行，在恐怖电影的基础上架构出几条时间线来，不过完成度倒不是很好，结尾还行，估计会韩语的观众一开始看门上的字就可以看出端倪，不会韩语的只能看到结尾才回过神。
emmmmm该怎么说呢。不喜欢这种结局，而且也没有告诉我为什么。我讨厌不告诉我原因！
一个好的工程项目应该是有用的平等的和持久的。
太黑了，最近看的怪奇宅还可以，一个个故事，有点串联，还算传统。。。我也想到了两个月亮，年代久远。。。有人和昆池岩比，昆池岩吓人吗，直播形式看的更乱，也不吓人。。。这部还可以。。
