A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

其实是没什么新意，而且女主角眼神空洞不太灵；婆婆和奶奶倒是很不错，加一星鼓励分
熟悉的好多地方以及场景，人文。故事还好，除了演技较差，其他相比之前的潮语电影都有进步。
难得一见国内好的喜剧片，不知道为什么觉得有台湾电影的影子。最后两个人是怎么复合的，加一个十分钟的戏就更好了！ “你妈是不是很没用”，虽然有了心理准备，还是被这句话戳到！
太棒了，作为一个“外省”女婿，很多细节我是有共鸣的，喜欢这样的小片。
很厉害，拍的挺好！摄影特别用心，剪辑上安排也有细腻的镜头，没有什么特别尬的感觉（有的话，就是在深圳的，在深圳画面很容易尬，生涩），从片子整体来说十分自然了，接地气，身为喜欢看电影的潮汕人，我走心了！
想杭州。玩具船长挺不错。试图教化封闭保守社会环境的婚姻和家庭，方式是大喊“不要封建”，非常好笑，一家子烂泥扶不上墙的男人唱红脸，让当家女人唱黑脸，"封建"只是"外地/离婚女人不能娶"吗，“不惜代价，保护家族声誉”的骇人不在前半句，在后半句，它导致美丽善良的当家太太不能讲理性必须强势必须保守，她的善良其实没有办法领她真正走出前现代生活。
吵架长镜头。鸡毛掸子。背景乐。
尽管有一种自媒体拍摄的味道，没想到还挺好看。
好久没看过那么舒服的电影了，有湾湾文艺片的味道，娓娓道来的，不紧不慢的，充满生活烟火气的，温暖的，舒适的，熟悉的，但又是真实的。那些随口而出的对话，那些街道，那些美食，那些音乐，穿进每个毛孔直达心灵。很喜欢。讲了几年，约过几波朋友了，今年，必须到汕头扫街。
故事还蛮惊喜的，潮汕地域文化特性，两代人之间的观念碰撞，拍出了纪录片般的粗粝质感，自然又散漫（缺点就是咋看都不像电影，深圳部分也过于网大），喜欢妈妈这个角色。

处处可见尴尬和捉襟见肘，但仍然能感受到那份诚意。
味道过于纯正！很完整的情节片，完全听不懂潮汕话的人也能有乐趣。对于想了解潮汕风土人情的人来说更是很值得一看，这就是现当代的潮阳风味。恰好，对于潮阳人来说，当然更是难得，有真，本人口音的片子。我们熟悉的演员和主持人，我们熟悉的妈妈的讲话八卦方式。啊潮阳人认证，这个味道醇。
很真实的生活，家长里短的潮汕风味，想要本地媳妇的妈妈，在华强北做电商的儿子，自媒体的离婚未来儿媳，传统和现代碰撞，淳朴而简单的对话。
泽凯妈对“外省再婚女”珊珊的抵触，似乎是潮汕人浓烈的宗族与本地意识的集中外化。语言的阻塞，制造心灵的隔膜。城市对小镇的同化，外语对方言的遗忘，又现几分文化忧患。而其本质，无非是封闭与自洽的空间生态，在面向无法掌控世界的极端畏惧与不安全感。而最终的和解，多少沾上些“延续香火”的妥协。
意外的不错，从主角到配角都人物丰满，角色全部都立的住，包括和妈妈拌嘴的那个老阿姨
