The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 评论一个个都好有文化。我就看不懂，但我大为震撼，就像做了一个阴暗潮湿又血淋淋的梦。
暗黑怪诞，令人不适，似乎又充满隐喻，充满了现在电影作品里少有的想象力和独创性。得以窥探到菲尔·蒂佩特的脑内世界，他是一位怀有双向情感障碍，沉浸在自我世界的定格动画天才。
don’t really care about the story gets a bit boring at times but visually cool as fuck. puppet blood is revolting. too many references. so much work. the set is insane.
美轮美奂，这才是真正值得整个IMAX看的电影1.最大的缺点就是真人出现的部分2.赞美电影摄影画面“每一帧都可以当壁纸”（X）“每一帧都可以当金属专辑封面”（✓）3.好多小细节好可爱4.配乐简单粗暴但是很魔性（褒义）5.想象力极其丰富，爱丽丝梦游地狱
很荣幸能观看大神三十年打造的世界，能看到这些画面真的挺幸运。能配的上这种画面的也无非也就是这些抽象的人与神，就这么回事，具体表达没意义。

动画制作看着不错，恶心反胃，情节应该是毫无情节吗？有着实力希望做点大众化看得懂的。
过于怪诞诡恶难服众口，或许确有其高明之处但不向大众推荐，低分劝退
扭曲过后的世界或许就是这样血腥荒诞……疯神并不是神，而是异化了的人类自己
各种超越现知的猎奇画面真的让人瞠目结舌，确实很震撼。
丘吉尔活成了大英帝国的面子，张伯伦活成了大英帝国的里子？绥靖主义应该不会重演吧。张伯伦选择绥靖，是基于“要和平不要战争”的强大民意，当下不是那样的舆论环境。
确实有点晦涩，不过梵高当年不是也被人当作疯子吗。说不定本片会在电影史里有一席之地呢，哪怕《致命弯道》也有自己的一席之地啊。

导演最后一行字幕坐实他脑中的片名其实是「张伯伦：被误解的英雄」
可怕的梦魇，可怕的想象力
