The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 形式会让人产生一种疲倦感。如果不是音乐的忠实爱好者的话，可能看电影会非常吃力。好像就真的是在看音乐剧，但可能大多数观众进来之前不知道是这样的。在音乐叙事和现实叙事来回切换，有些不适应。P.S.加菲那个嘴，他是故意的么。。。
加菲总是让我想到Angels in America 虽然musical可能真的不是我的genre 但还是很感人很燃
使用音乐剧作为全片载体是对原型的最大尊重，重要的是首首好听。

需要重新看一遍《lala land》洗一洗眼睛和耳朵。。。。
也能摆脱诸如像“三十而立”的人生焦虑。
Jon的第一场试片会结束后，好评如潮但无人投资，他问经纪人“那我现在该怎么办？”，经纪人说“写下一部，写完了就再写一部，一直投稿直到有回应为止，这是大多数剧作家的宿命。”有才华的人终将被看到，需要的是时间和耐心。只不过除了这段，全片剧情和音乐都不怎么打动人，不及影片最后Jonathan Larson本人的影像有感染力。

不错啊，不过可能更多才华来自原版音乐剧？加菲我觉得演的很好，艺术家的癫狂，还有一点可爱。不要看到一点不太写实的表演就说演的太过，是适配电影风格的。
严格来讲，这是一部挺套路的电影，是关于一个天才，在他传奇般的陨落之前，如何登上巅峰的故事。不过天才的种种疯魔，还是丰富了这个套路的骨架。
最喜欢亚历山德拉·希普的嗓音。
影片结尾，拉森却重整旗鼓，开始创作《吉屋出租》。就是这个瞬间，对我的冲击力太大了。看完影片我其实不会觉得拉森可怜，甚至有些羡慕他。

临近年底，好片如潮。我被《倒数时刻》深深击中！
剧情主线单薄，剧中剧的表现形式有帮助避短但效果有限；加菲很努力但这片像音乐剧的感觉还是大大重于像电影，他也像在演剧而不是电影。
摸不着头脑的前30分钟过去之后
更勿论90年代独有的那般复杂的社会环境和特殊的政治氛围。
