The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 没什么惊喜，就设定小朋友喜欢，小孩子带着大怪兽，演一场周星驰的破坏之王。其实就是外卖仔打大师兄嘛。大师兄娇喘一声。。。。。被打倒了。

故事简单完整但剧情欠饱满，前因不清后果不明，算是开放性结局，作为一部喜剧动漫，制作可以达到三星的水准。里面有一个point我很喜欢，就是史蒂夫打拳击的时候，温妮总对他说的那句，要跟随你自己的步调。套用在现实世界也是如此，不要被强者的步调牵着走，只跟随你自己的步调，哪怕赢不了，混过三回合也是一种胜利。
我真的很喜欢怪兽元素，虽然确实是很俗很俗的剧情和很普通的动画。但是我看得津津有味。大概三星给电影本身，一星就怪物。
