The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 顶多算轻喜剧，真没啥意思。我发现豆瓣对这种爱情喜剧片的包容度是真tm高，一帮分不清大俗大雅的人却非要装B的把自己当成文青，够恶心的
看的很感同身受，邦德一个打工仔，他想要休息，但他休息的时候只会感到空虚，他只有死了才能停止工作
DC版的007一直在努力表达“007”不过只是一个代号而已，希望展现百炼钢的内里不过也是绕指柔。但如果代号真的不重要，最后又为何一定要将它还给James？这恰恰揭露这个系列最残酷和绝望的现实：半个世纪以来，它将特工片推向一个巅峰的同时也把自己困在了类型的囹圄里，想突破固定的形象和套路的设计，有太多的“不可为”在掣肘。所以我们最终看到的就是一部非常平庸的电影，和一个经典的、不再属于这个时代的英雄角色的迟暮，他无暇赴死却不得不死，点到为止的悲情，送给曾经为这个男人狂热痴迷过的所有人。
PS：安娜非常美、非常可爱。
好久没有看这么流畅的电影了，挺有意思的。有时间找原版再看看。
老题材炒新饭，算是高画质新电影，消磨时间可以看
小时候第一次看007是布鲁斯南的《黄金眼》，我固然被邦德电影必备的各种香车美女高科技武器震撼，但真正让我印象深刻我的是《黄金眼》片头——列宁、斯大林的巨型雕像被一群美艳的裸女砸坏——我第一次直接地经验到东西方巨大的意识形态视差。近三十年后，《无暇赴死》片头中被毁坏的雕像，名叫“不列颠尼亚”。
还挺好看的 只是虽然套路了点 还是小小的希望两个人最后是在一起的~好可惜
总体算及格。一些小细节处理的挺不错~~女主演的很有性格~

谁要看你们007成为家庭男，反派是裘千尺，最后007死于情花毒的故事啊？虽然阿玛斯妹妹的戏份依旧很突然古早风格但这种男性视角美女打架倒也不是不可以。我脑内仿佛有一个某位老师的”他们全家都死了.jpg”的表情包。
套路喜剧爆米花电影。四星。扣一星是男主太丑了，脸上的褶子像沙皮狗。找一个土帅的中年四五线大叔很难吗？颜值在线的也就是渣男和男主妹夫了。
没有过分的政治正确，也没有强行让女主“下嫁”，一切都恰到好处。
应该叫《只想去死》。话痨，拖拖拉拉，110分钟足矣。三个编剧就搞这么个玩意儿出来？
