The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 结尾拉胯，喜剧片就认真搞笑好了，不要搞刻意煽情，更不要搞啥主题升华，前面有多搞笑，后面就有尴尬。

我想说剧本扎实电影可以像任何方向发散，爱情电影，科幻电影， 喜剧电影。很多人应该会下意识的讨厌最后的剧情，但我认为这是最精彩的地方。因为我们大多数人总是太渴望别人成为英雄，而更情愿自己作为中间人。但末世真的来临，或许每个普通人都可能被推上英雄的位置。而现实证明，很多命运选择的普通人用自己的生命成为了我们的英雄。中间是智慧，但人类需要英雄

看的点映，因为见到了马丽姐本人还有导演和其他演员，所以给三颗星吧
三星吧 无功无过。建议以后喜剧片想煽情插点搞笑片段，不然前半程全搞笑后半段全煽情，不符合人类悲欢过渡期。。

无需纠结老套的剧情剧情，小黄人拿手的肢体搞笑依旧拿捏得不错，全程忍不住的笑大概三次？（在健身房窗前吃冰淇淋时，睁大眼睛卖萌时，练铁头功时）另外，开头响起中文歌时一愣，但也只是个幌子，中国元素整体无功无过吧
咱就是说 喜剧就喜剧 能不能不装什么科幻？科幻和你有啥关系？！全特么是好莱坞上世纪就玩儿剩的结构和设定加上一堆烂梗，强搔搔着笑，吹啥改革创新什么本土科幻之光啥的，我真是服了你们这帮老六
开心麻花最新作品，可以看出野心很大，涉足了太空科幻领域，特效做的不错，腾子演技也在线，冬梅还是有美的让人心动的时刻，有情怀有致敬，热热闹闹，挺好。
“我有一个好消息和一个坏消息”，现在听到这句话就想笑哈哈哈，以前咋就没觉得有这么魔性。。。
外国科幻片都是《2001太空漫游》《银翼杀手2049》《升级》《机械姬》《绝密档案》《吾乃母亲》这种硬科幻。
耳朵自动识别中文片头曲的感觉好奇妙。在场所有笑声都是家长的，小孩子大概会觉得无聊吧。要不是看到Essex Live说Odeon禁止teens in suits入场观影，应该是完全提不起兴致的。看完之后倒也还好，小黄人一如既往的可爱，小小黄人超级可爱。装可怜永远是最好用的沟通技巧。
笑不出来.jpg 也无法被煽情桥段和世界观所打动，感觉看了个不是喜剧的喜剧，蛮尴尬的。
缺点：1、逻辑有问题，马蓝星在最后说：“不论什么理由，都不能牺牲一个人”——这狠狠打了她自己的脸：她当初明明看到了独孤月，却为了多数人的利益抛下了他…并且在独孤月再次发问“如果重新来过你会不会丢下我”的时候，仍然给出了肯定的答案。2、电影里头的人多少有点太不靠谱了，不过当喜剧片看也能理解～3、本片确实有笑点但不是很戳中我，我个人没有笑太多，不过片场很多人在笑。
不要再企图编故事了吧，认认真真让小黄人可爱卖萌我就满足了

自从在环球影城吃过小黄人蛋糕就开始get到他们的可爱了
设计了非常多笑点，但很多地方我真的笑不出来，开心麻花的喜剧手法越来越急功近利了。
