The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 在精灵旅社4后面看的，相比于精灵旅社温情的故事，这个暗黑幽默的动画片更加精彩。搞怪可爱的一家子。
完美的世界重新演绎，温柔怀旧。但是越是看下去越发现这个故事讲得太浅，过多依赖对白，叙述成为故事发展的动力，观众很容易出戏。或者换句话说如果本片不是东木老爷亲自出演，完全没那么多人看分也不会高。
这不，合家欢了，相反的价值观甚至也可共存，何必非要同化。姐姐离家出走时，对弟弟说：我将永远不会忘记你，但是我会试试。巧妙的语言
治癒人心的西部童話，老爺子今次的處理可用「返老還童」來形容。
鸡很抢戏，最直观感受是东木真的力不从心了，除了剧作上所做出的工整保守的选择外，曾经最强硬的牛仔如今一场简单的驯马戏也只能无奈地用远景和半身镜来为使用替身藏拙。除此之外东木所展现出的超越年龄的精力和状态仍然令人叹服。
全部人物ooc的合家欢，加上公路片和90分钟的流行文化，浪费时间看这个
好无聊
这一部不是那种老少咸宜的动画电影……自觉没什么意思……
还行，其实不太吃这个画风。看完真人版以后觉得动画版一般
还行。。。。咱也是没想到，有点强行教育意义，，，
剧情好水，从头水到尾，而且还挺闹。闹也就算了，扔的包袱也没多大响，这就很尴尬了。重点是打着哥特风的旗号，做的却是低幼合家欢的事儿，受众也就完全没有针对性。

东木一如既往的稳，整体看完就是扎实，有事就找老牛仔，啥事都是搞定，怪不得女人都想睡他。也不知道这是不是老爷子最后一部，反正导演椅就是他最好的归宿。
情节很正能量，一点也不哥特，只有妆容造型哥特而已。
明明该很有趣，但是每个情节的推进都很无聊
