The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 拍的很是平淡，剧情散落，节奏感不好，有点浪费了卡司。
所以说艺术不仅来源于生活，更要高于生活。能看出导演其实已经很努力地在为故事增加戏剧性了，但是整个片子看下来观感体验还是十分的沉闷和无聊。

三星半，不像前傳的「前傳」。視覺是懷舊的，語境是現代的，但時代元素、借古鑑今的連結度實在弱。關於Tony是怎樣煉成的，亦只是蜻蜓點水。本片最大的作用，可能就是叫觀眾再看一次昔日神劇。

看尿了...就是一个组织搞假钞，因为管理层小弟老婆出轨，导致假钞被小弟员工误以为是预支薪水借给了（男）朋友，而（男）朋友拿钱去pc，把钱给了小姐，小姐把钱还给了男主，男主送另一个小姐的时候夹着钱的书被碰巧带走了，而这本书被还到了书店，又和店主的养老金一起回到男主手上的这样一个狗血的巧合故事...然后管理层小弟就一波被带走了...时间叙轨还有点意思
从既有的事实展开合理的联想，如此思考下去，自然而然就能看到被隐藏的事实。不得不说，小日本挺会讲故事……

强行加入的BLM元素让人并不舒适，两个小时对于人物的特点刻画来说显得有些太短。
根据真实故事改编的救援电影，故事感人，但电影不够好看。
