The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 食之无味，弃之可惜，跟玩具系列完全没法比，用脚都能猜到的剧情，披着巴斯光年人设皮的一个老掉牙星际冒险剧情，本以为时间穿越会有什么不一样的惊喜，结果老光年就只是来演大魔王的。
剧情乏味，衍生脱离《玩具总动员》太远了，美队配音也只是廉价卖点，《星战》或者是《星际迷航》的风格让观众觉得何必看巴斯在这瞎折腾，闹腾的笑点有些尬，迪士尼（包括漫威）最近总在刻意试探性对于性取向生硬的植入，要不大张旗鼓要不就别在这玩不疼不痒的暧昧，西瓜没吃到棒子也没了，最重要的剧情很无聊。
《玩具总动员》系列口碑和票房都是影史顶端。作为皮克斯的招牌系列，影迷对这个系列的期待值会非常高。
作为一部经典的附庸，电影只负责以20多年前的玩具巴斯为人设基础，用如今看来过时的手法创作一位能打动孩子的传统英雄形象，毕竟电影创作的初衷也就是为了圆曾经天真无邪的安迪一个童年。

即便是动画片也有好多不合理之处无法忍受……以为是怎样的价值观才没能引进…其实真的还好吧……
多一星给猫咪，整部电影所有人物加起来还不如一只机器猫有人性。
低幼向得索然无味，不愧是安迪最喜欢的电影，就跟迪士尼乐园里的拯救巴斯光年一样落伍。

机器橘猫出现的时候我心想，哦，这又是迪士尼贩卖周边的阴谋。等到影片过半：没有机器橘猫我坚持不了这么远，真的。呃，没有东西可拍就不用硬拍了，迪士尼。

4.5 不是皮克斯应有的产物，更像是迪斯尼为流媒体特供的那种人物外传，简单而又俗套地蹭蹭情怀并图一乐，再加上片头那几行字就更不能容忍了，崭新得哪有一点90s的滋味，醒醒吧。
