剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     形式华丽、构图精致、摄影绝美、表演扎实，奈何以伯格曼《第七封印》般肃穆的影像风格复刻黑泽明《蜘蛛巢城》电影质感对莎翁文本的经典诠释，细节上做得再极致，也不过是邯郸学步的削足适履。抽离了科恩兄弟引以为傲的荒诞底色，在视觉上加buff也不过是一场极致华丽的舞台秀，却没有科恩式的电影感，于是沦为学院派气息浓厚的情怀之作，在美学上是精彩的影像实验，于电影本体却鸡肋许多。
