The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 父子和解、姐姐那条线、青春爱情、铁路修建充实的多线叙事。虽然感觉差点火候吧，但完成度可以。林允儿太好看了吧。

女主给男主录磁带的时候，为了掩饰自己正在做和想让对方做的事情而改变人称来叙述的傲娇太可爱了。
姐姐：你想过我会陪你多长时间吗？为了你好，我一直都想离开。但是你知道为什么我还没走吗？我想让你笑着说：我要离开这里了。我一直在等。
怎么说呢，年龄大了，只要导演走了心，我就会走心
结尾男主和父亲哭哭唧唧的给我整无语了
电影的色调基本上和画家笔下的猫咪画一致，前期充满了温情梦幻的色彩，后期走向混乱，最后又归于平静。本尼太擅长表演这种神经质的、对现实适应无能的角色了，养猫人又有另一种共鸣。事件选取和表达手法其实挺不错的，作为一部人物传记片，很贴近画家的精神世界了。
一个鬼姐姐激励弟弟学习科学的奇异故事，以青春片开场，转传记片，转励志片，转救赎片，最后以奇怪的初吻主题曲再转回青春片，绝！
最后，还是“爱”最动情最伟大最深远。
作为传记片，拍得一般。有些镜头和画几乎无法区分。猫能成为和狗一样的宠物，Wein的功劳不小。
4:3畫幅的彩色電影，拍的很美。意外發現11年前留意過的電影黑色池塘主演現在已經是導演了！
姐姐线设计的很棒，整体温情满满，后段有点强行煽情导致情感崩塌。

没想到原来姐姐已经去世了，姐弟情很感动，中间和罗熙的的互动也很有趣
男主演员选的岁数有点偏大了 以前不太能get到允儿 这部有点改观
男主角好像陈志朋，说实话没有林允儿的爱情部分也无妨，不知道怎么提名青龙奖最佳女主角。。。
故事一般，不过卷福还是更适合这样的角色发挥。

画面超级美，像香水广告那么美！一段短暂而美好的爱情，一场无解又曲折的生活，养猫人士大概更能get那种表情全无，但内心无比丰富的人吧，唉，还好有猫，互为了解，又互不打扰。
