剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     同样是讲述新冠疫情的电影，这和XX医生带给我的震撼和喜好程度完全是天差地别。这部小制作虽然小，但依然保留了最基本的电影感以及优秀的演员表演。朱迪·科默那段救助打电话的长镜头足以刻进我的年度难忘瞬间中。本片用以小见大的方式来剖析当时的英国在面对新冠疫情时的社会生活方方面面。仅仅是通过一辆救护车，几通电话就能营造出当时的混乱和对底层人民的抛弃与谎言，可见这部电影的控诉意味有多强，更不必提最后朱迪坐在车里以打破第四面墙的方式发出的灵魂拷问了。
