The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 很好看啊，反派是穿越回来的自己，然后没想到巴斯已经变了，经过了与菜鸟阴差阳错的配合，感受到了团队的力量。飞船设计的都挺有意思的，是用心设计过的工业产品样子。SOX这只小猫是为了捕获猫奴吧，功能多到像哆啦A梦，怪不得也叫机器猫，很可惜两只SOX没能相见。如果有个小朋友凑巧看了这个电影，我想也会想要买个巴斯光年玩具吧，然后玩具总动员就开始了。巴斯是最拒绝投降和逃生的，但逃生后展开的小翅膀，却成为了玩具时他后来最典型的特征。
老巴斯光年的穿越动机也比较勉强。
剧情乏善可陈，传统的太空版美国队长+不靠谱菜鸟队友打倒反派的故事。看完唯一想说的是，又能卖萌又功能多多的机器猫哪里找？

抛开［玩具总动员］的情怀和平淡的剧情来看待这部动画电影，我只能说迪士尼你好样的，政治正确和LGBTQ+被你拿捏得死死的，吃枣药丸。
3.8 看完想买巴斯光年变身手表，toy story宇宙你赢了。
卡通版Star Trek ➕star war！弑父情节（未来的自己也算爹伐？）➕ 探索宇宙精神 好爱那只小猫猫🐱！！！
故事讲的太复杂，不如简单说个英雄感人就好了。最可爱的是“喵喵喵”🥰
挺好看的~虽然有点偏低龄向，但是剧情还是很跌宕的。
悶到出翔 shame on Disney 老年buzz是不是照著克魯尼畫的？
old story，开头就是一个环保无公害版《异形》，科幻模板，之后是个人主义受挫，然后被温暖有爱集体(×）team(✓）🤔接纳的老套童话，情感牌是光年耽于证明自己的事业，结果错过了好朋友伊斯的一生，这是当今社畜被工作异化，错失友谊，家庭之类重要之物的妙喻，光年为自己的错误耿耿于怀，一心想挽救错误再次证明自己，甚至因为执念几近走火入魔，伊斯对光年的安慰，也是对社畜观众的安慰，“it's allright，你做的已经很好了，没有人怪你啊~”用力抱[jpg.]，献给当代巨婴的睡前故事，鸡汤文艺
6分。给个及格分，故事很俗套，没有创新，看个热闹，消费一下拔丝来也的情怀。

全靠对玩具总动员的喜爱看完，电影本身还是有点无聊。
[视]皮克斯第26部动画长片。美队配音出戏，2分钟黑人，17分钟lgbt，0.6c绕开一颗恒星花多久，机器人记不得配方，大爷大妈20年不记得古典三明治做法。穿越题材，主角团化学反应一般，结尾一般，锥形光线<嘎吱作响>，建筑断裂<雷蒙·斯尼奇的不幸历险>，全息回忆<星战绝地：陨落武士团>。时间膨胀，隐藏双卵子胚胎技术，带着爷爷奶奶去冒险
借着星际旅行的主题 背景中是相对于时间的流逝与内心深处的笃定前行 虽说这个设定与最终boss都算情理之中 但片子的重点却少了许多可以被赋予使命的意义 巴斯光年这个角色足够正面和积极 但少了许多人情味和立体感 不仅仅是故事线与主角团的单一 更是在最后少了生花妙笔的点睛之笔
