The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 最后的真实枪战很棒！很想知道老亨利是怎么传奇过？坏人还是好人？
幻想孩子是亚瑟。
最近老西部片颇有卷土重来之势，“比利小子”晚年传都来了。柔焦暖色调略不讨喜，精华都在最后半小时，3.5星。
西部片给人的感觉总是混乱而又暴力，真怀疑当时人们怎么活下来的。正如老亨利，即便归隐又怎能逃得过这样的西部世界，混乱终有终结，希望正在路上，一如儿子远去的背影。
喜欢这种不含任何夸张成分的西部枪战，纯写实的拍反而很有代入感。混乱的枪战哪有机会让你耍帅，哪有百发百中，哪有无限子弹。大侠挨枪子也挂，跑两步也喘，开枪也得瞄。在那种混乱的世界做个好人自力更生是最奢侈的幻想。
这才是生活的现实与生命的真实。

枪战部分还算干脆利落

很简单的一个故事，但是完成度非常高。最后悲剧结尾，情感渲染也很到位。
一段命中注定的相遇，再最后一次闪光过后，结束了老牛仔罪恶的一生，年轻的牛二代踏上通往现代的征程。
