The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 特别好，是看了很多中国电影都没有见过的好。细腻，真实，又哭又笑。
制作中规中矩，亮点不足，故事无比现实却闪烁着人性的光辉。
整个故事的灵魂人物还是妈妈啦，妈妈的演技弥补了很多电影技术上的不足，故事变得更朴实。女主虽然长得比不上明星，但也是挺耐看的，那么问题来了，长得漂亮高学历经济独立事业有成的女孩，活脱脱一现代女性模版，为什么能看得上这样的传统家庭..
妈妈们真的是一个好伟大的角色
现实生活的矛盾，妈妈看得反而没有奶奶清楚。
男主的妈妈真是典型的潮汕女人，既要做家务照顾老人小孩，还要挣钱攒钱给儿子娶媳妇，最重要的年头拜到年尾
处处透露着年轻人在现实世界里的尴尬。
最后一段杭州游不会真的拿手机拍的吧，补拍的团圆结局吗😂
这种语言不通带来的隔阂还真有点让我想到李安的电影，非常特色的潮汕文化，还挺真实的。

主角某些角度太像粤语科普博主第二号人物了，但是细看又挺仁科的

所以就我一个人喜欢这种生活流的电影吗？妈妈演的也太好了吧，比肩《天水围的日与夜》鲍起静、《桃姐》叶德娴。
最后，功夫茶是真的好喝的，单丛最好喝了。
