The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 童年自传，我们生活在当下，亦生活在历史中。
详尽的旁白描述成功使观众浸淫到那个遥远激荡的六十年代。但过多的要素轰炸会令对那段历史时期的社会和流行文化不太熟悉的观众感到眼花缭乱，太满的叙述也令本片缺少些许想象的空间。
俄罗斯根据真实事件改编乌克兰对乌东地区的暴行，男主对自己儿子说，战争最可怕的不是受伤和死亡，死亡只是碗大的疤，20年后又是一条好汉，而是看到亲人和同胞在你面前被杀时，你却无能为力....
挨炸救人，再挨炸再救人，看起来很流水账，可这就是乌东老百姓的日常，基辅统治者造就了字面意义上的官逼民反。不过最后俄国人的天兵神降有点好笑，好似武工队艰苦战斗终于等到了八路军。
导演自己对那个年代的个人记忆，也编织了那一代童年里的各种元素，电影，音乐，科技，孩童们不知轻重的玩乐，似乎人命不值钱一般的生活态度，那些复古的影像用动画的形式再现，应该能给不少人带来共鸣吧。

还以为有过boyhood了林克莱特就没必要拍这种片了。
值得玩味的是
这部属于怀旧电影，适宜50后60后看，都是亲历，感受会更深。同类题材的像“阳光灿烂的日子”“童年往事”“天堂电影院”这些评分都蛮高的，这部要是真人电影或许更好吧？
所以这是个动画纪录片。。期待人类重返月球。。
