The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 很久没看过这么安抚心灵的作品了，浪漫细腻又克制。
作为导演刘循子墨银幕处女作就选择喜剧+悬疑的类型商业片，难度系数可谓直接拉满，不好笑或不抓人，影片都有可能直接歇菜。好在《扬名立万》拿捏好了这两种类型车轮的平衡，让观众观影过程一路顺畅。
也不是说预期太低倒有些超出预期了，虽然是个喜剧，但子墨明显还是有些想法，这个电影玩得也开心，致敬了很多经典电影，嘲讽了很多圈内现象，还是有万和那个味儿的。
这里面的人，独立，自由，努力追寻着自己的梦，也是一群可爱的人：可以被爱的人。最后的一段直接泪目

一切都淡淡的，哀伤淡淡的，激情淡淡的，美也淡淡的。女主好好看，坐在窗户那儿抽烟好美。一边给儿子准备早点也可以抽着烟（我们拍要被喷死吧？）多元审美多好。我们为什么老停在白幼？

温情、动人，叙事节奏很舒服，影片色调是我喜欢的，周末再看一遍。

把她变成死尸是保护她的最好方式，不去拍她肩膀才能让她平静地活着，因为那一笔带过的越南两船相撞是隐含的永远逃不脱的命运，冲这一点，创作者对现实的悲观态度已经很明显了。
