The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 中间将近半个小时的长镜头惊心动魄。
结构上，太零碎了；几条线的交叉，剪辑点也都挺别扭的，这大大影响了观众的“入戏”过程。

这种题材和这种拍摄方式的恐怖片很特别，第一次感觉眼前一亮的恐怖片，看完以后还是久久觉得有点后怕……胆子大试试呗

说这么多，总结一下:
觉的晦气并不代表就信了，以前收到“不转发就死全家”这样的短信你会信吗？不也只是单纯觉的晦气么。但这还不是最重要的，最重要的是摄影机的调度实在太烂，视角混乱。导演没有能力驾驭伪纪录片的形式，仅仅是为了配合这个晦气的创意，舍本逐末，可惜了这么好的民俗设定。
伪纪录片本来就是恐怖片的最佳拍摄方式 【咒】这种形式真的让人头皮发麻心里不舒服 但这就是导演编剧的厉害之处啊 也是这电影独树一帜的特别之处啊。如果你是因为最后给你下咒觉得人家晦气就打低分——我看着这电影一夜之间从7.7分掉落到6.9 使用豆瓣这么些年以来第一次看到这样的场景 觉得你们好幼稚。就像大家一直吐槽像十几年前的QQ空间不转发就怎样怎样的 那时候你们信吗？因为这些原因把一个好电影埋没了实在是有点可惜。
