剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     在Netflex烂片水准之上，导演想表达的人物和信息太多，于是会觉得一些线索和场景其实没必要。本以为会和三个广告牌一样，但这部片子更加真实，人物的发展更加可信，亦母亦姐的身份反而增强了姐妹两人之间的牵绊，不是母女更盛母女，但除了警察兄弟之外：）。

    全片以露丝的视点叙述，影片大量的闪回，通过信息差来制造悬念。在剧情反转前，我觉得影片核心在讲人对内在情绪的克制，所有的冲突的源头都是以内在的、私人的，但形式却是非理智的，而在真相被揭晓后，小小厂房里男性和女性的对峙形成了强烈的对比，一个是女性的坚韧，她能被压倒在地，也能重新站起来，一个是男性的冲动，他是一直隐忍着的，不表露情感，但当他被击溃的那一刻，他就无法再保持理智、控制行为了。
