The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 问题多到已懒得一一细数，但我毕竟还是从头到尾看完了，作者还是用了心的，高分鼓励，武侠不死。

剧情紧扣一个“侠”字，动作设计也颇具古风。日本文化的源头是中华，电影服化道一股日本味，只能说明我们对自己文化的传承和宣传做得不够。
少有的江湖味与庙堂，鼓励。另外，谢苗，你再酷再能打，我始终浮现的是你小时候的样子…
再简单而普通的剧本和制作，也难掩那久违了的侠义。其实，江湖本就纯粹，一念起百剑生，恩仇快意，舍生取义，讨个公道罢了。

电影的氛围营造很好，中式《赏金猎人》外传。故事简单，风格写意，无论服化亦或武打设计都很用心，场面调度与摄影都带着浓浓的「江湖气」，那种快意恩仇的洒脱。谢苗亦是褪去记忆中的少年稚气多了几分沧桑，有点《座头市》意思了。（美中不足的是画面质感与色调处理可再雕琢一下，不然可三星）
