The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 宣传911期间美国北方小镇接纳临时停靠的大量飞机乘客的音乐剧。从舞台布景灯光音乐到演员台词走位唱段无不体现出百老汇一流的制作水准。对比美国社会的现实状况，片中呈现的诸般美好难免透出一丝不真实。
从发现是讲911的故事开始就一直流泪，编排得太好了，性别、宗教、种族、人性方面都有涉及但一点都不觉得拥挤，人物特点很鲜明所以角色切换和转场都很自然，立意也很好，既缅怀失去也致敬收获。好喜欢音乐剧群像！

除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
题材很吸引人，从音乐剧的角度来说既没有抓我耳朵的歌，剧情也缺乏节奏。虽然演员都很卖力，但是有限的人数加上很小的舞台感觉局限性还是很大。

特殊时期来看这种民间自发互助还是挺感动的。临结尾的创伤后遗以及十年后的生活还得继续，只愿不要歧视和平共处吧！

太好听了！不过音乐剧还是要看现场的！荧幕上真的差太多
表演很热情，很有生命力。
9·11过去了20年
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
又看了一遍，我的人道主义和理想主义之光，不管再看多少遍都会热泪盈眶😢
看完现场之后补标，为原卡女机长加一星。 / 近景少了很多舞台细节，但演员的表演更有感染力。片头和片尾都有一点感动。
因为疫情，取消、退票，太过遗憾，还好有官摄，看得又哭又笑的。原来20年了，还没有来得及去纽约看过纪念馆，那一天在班级里看着电视，直到长大后才真的明白那是怎样可怕的灾难。感谢陌生人的善意。
