The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 本来甘斯布要来现场的，结果因为档期耍了我们，导演倒是识趣，知道我们不在乎他，随便露个脸就走了。
从名字就吸引我的电影，果然又有侯麦的“戏份”。声音电台、夜晚、八十年代、单亲家庭、女性主导叙事，摇曳又自然，像是只有巴黎才能发生的故事。

80年代巴黎，一个失婚女性，一个单亲家庭，一个失足少女简单的重拾人生的情景，连故事都谈不上，但就拍得巨舒服，巴黎的这种温暖的气质我真的不认识。
1. 电影拍得非常温柔，人物彼此取暖，用时间平复生活的伤口。但拍得不够精确，过多的情绪淹没了生活的细节。2. 影像风格上很出色，光线表达出了巴黎的夜与日，暗与明，记录影像的穿插，似乎让人回到八十年代。3. 电影不仅表现了巴黎的城市景观，还突出了公寓的空间，楼上的小客房虽然与楼下建立了联系，但终究在家庭空间之外。4. 搬家代表着一段时光的过去，打包行李和记忆，母亲送给儿女的礼物成为了公寓死亡的遗产。

巴黎真是电影里永恒的文艺之都，每个导演都能在它身上汲取别样的灵感。这不是侯麦和戈达尔的巴黎，更不是雅克塔蒂和卡拉克斯的巴黎，这是一群提着易碎灯笼的夜旅人，在黑暗中拥抱着彼此孤独的巴黎。电影的后劲很大，如平淡生活中默默积蓄的力量。我想导演一定是个温柔的人，不然拍不出如此温柔的电影。
