The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 家暴和吸毒也是病，不仅是病，还是瘾。有些时候那些人真的永远都不会好起来。

好久没看恐怖片了，选的这一部也是期待了好久的电影。影片的基调很冷峻，小演员的神情里有一种极度的冷静，还有纯净的无辜。女教师独自弑杀怪物那段很像甘道夫独击炎神……

画面干净扎实，特效镜头不多，但故事始终围绕主题，效果好。
