The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事可以说是《驯龙高手》《加勒比海盗》《哥斯拉》《怪物猎人》《少年派的奇幻漂流》的杂糅体，非常接近于《驯龙高手》，也是人类与动物间相爱相杀的矛盾与友谊，只不过将飞龙改为了海兽。红色海兽为了突出善良和萌萌哒，造型和《驯龙高手》里的主人公夜煞非常相似。
主角海兽除了颜色，造型上太软糯了，果真还是给小娃看的啊
有一个镜头很恐怖，第一次掉进海里，焰魔深海里盯着他们。。。剧情有点老套了，怪物做的挺可爱。可以很流畅的看完就算好电影吧。
三星半。还行。但人物形象和海兽形象都不特别，剧情过得去但不精彩。
合格线以上的商业片。真正让它深刻的不是老一套种族性别战争，而是——谁掌握权力，谁就掌握历史；谁掌握历史，谁就掌握未来。
还行…开头太老套我差点睡过去。全场亮点在最后小女孩的讲话。其他感觉都在别的电影里看过了。
