The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 曾经我们看到的美国法院，是十二怒汉那样，12个人为了一位素不相识的小男孩在狭小的密室里推演辩论，最后男主角在昂扬积极的背景音乐中，满怀希望的走出法庭。那部电影里传达出来的美国精神和制度自信可见一斑。而在这部作品中的美国法庭，混乱无序，充满了偏见和愚昧。那种小人物在巨大的国家机器前的无奈与愤怒让身处大洋彼岸的我们都感到熟悉而陌生。那套公正的自由民主再也无法说服所有人了。
说鸡确实够鸡，但能做到这么鸡也是人中凤凰了。
信息量极大。现在看来，过去的辉煌岁月真的太牛逼了，无法复刻。
本身并不喜欢这个类型的电影，但这部确实节奏掌握得好，以及不时伴有笑点。看到基顿出现的时候想了好久这是谁，想起来后好激动，那年跟小雀斑竞争最佳男主的时候我还打抱不平了好久。

我們需要這類的電影，雖然在某一節點上屬於挑撥觀眾情緒的視聽手法，但是其電影所呈現的角度確實犀利的，值得人們思考的，也願意去挖掘更多背後的歷史價值的，那其實就是一部好的電影。
好久没有看到剧本这么好的纪实电影了，简直为之一振！尽管我政治倾向保守并且像Cartman一样反感嬉皮士运动，但丝毫不影响我被这部片子打动。当鸡蛋义无反顾地撞上高墙，当"blood flow all over the city"，愿你的自由高呼，全世界都听得见。
是否存在一个民权运动电影的现象？《芝加哥七君子审判》是目前看到最成熟的，无论是叙事线把握整合的能力还是煽情的能力（沉默与暴力的对接是最显见的精彩剪辑），奇怪的是，要为这类电影做一个精彩的收尾莫非真是一件难事？太泄气了
This is splendid cinematography. O how splendid! But somehow the story feels like self-entertainment to and only to an ironic level.
