The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个非常合格的小成本商业片，套在这样一个历史真实事件下去讲述，哪怕我们不是非洲人，也能快速的感受到那个时代世界所带来的歧视以及反抗，因为黄种人也好，地域歧视也好，我们谁又能说没经历过那种不平等的对待呢
很好的讲述了一个高中生对自己性向的不认同。对一个十几岁的孩子来讲，发现自己是所谓的另类，那种纠结的心情。旁观者，其实永远都是事不关己，这种微妙的心态，真的描述的很好。

“自由的代价是什么”，对不起，我笑了，这句台词是突然从哪条缝里面蹦出来的，尴不尴尬啊，明明从头到尾拍的是黑人反白人的殖民统治和种族压迫，怎么一下子就变成为“自由”而战了？这片不会是给“颜色革命”拍的吧？反压迫反歧视怎么就和“自由”挂上钩了，这么莫名其妙的逻辑居然还有不少人附和。很多人给高分可能是因为讲的是“种族歧视”，但该片片尾把“种族歧视”问题转变成了为“自由”为战，变味了好吗。
当你呼吸到新鲜空气，尝到健康食物的时候，你应该感恩的是为此些权益做出过争取与牺牲的人，而不是那个处处压迫你的郭嘉
是一场相互救赎吗？应该是一场最终的互相理解吧。
南非也可以拍出这么有格调的电影，一切为了自由！
拍的过于立场化了，不喜，估计南非的观众口味决定的吧。
