The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 有时候也需要一些温暖的鸡汤，真情动人。对灾难的讲述切入点很特别，技术上很强（卡司也太累了吧）
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
该剧本很有国际化视野，讲述美国911时，38架飞机被迫降落在加拿大Gander小镇，7000多名世界各地的旅客滞留在此，小镇居民的慷慨热情感动了他们，在这里他们找到了一生的爱情、友情，人与人之间由隔阂转为彼此信任，音乐剧1小时起进入高潮，后面全是燃点，音乐好听感人，感觉可以反复听好多遍，最喜欢女机长单人solo那段，太霸气了。

看之前没想到这个剧传达的信息这么optimistic 卡司无缝衔接身份转换 in an ideal world 陌生人的善意 世界和平
超棒！在疫情时期和911二十周年之际，很有力量的一部人性音乐剧❤️
What a year like same year!
艺术来源于生活，真实的生活真实的故事最为动人。
当生活被灾难按下了暂停键，内心的某些地方会变得不同，也许是感恩生活，也许是增加仇恨。没有人在灾难中一无所获。台上的演员高矮胖瘦都有，岛民和乘客身份随时切换，非常出彩。
太好哭了。不论来自哪里 情感还是所向披靡（天才大礼包这个戏是 情感浓度过高了呜哇————
一个小镇接待7千多911事件影响下不能回国的人，温暖又感动！
911事件导致的连锁反应，人与人在危难之中的互助充分反映了人性光芒，政治立场就不太好评价了，毕竟是美国主旋律舞台剧。
真人真事改编的歌剧，主题很棒，但是单就故事性来讲有些平淡了，令人并不内心激动，歌曲也就还好，分三次看完了，看得有点困
這是一部很棒的音樂劇，旋律優美，歌詞細膩多層次，結合當年發生的事件，讓人感動。
可能真的接受不了音乐剧吧，看得非常煎熬。看到20分钟开始边刷豆瓣边看，最后还是没坚持到结尾。不太喜欢里面的音乐和主题（哎，还是喜欢一些黑暗类主题），感觉就像看真人迪士尼，不过看得出来演员很卖力。

又是一部优秀的音乐剧，节奏轻快，感情真挚。
