剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     #TIFF2021#缺点和优点都非常明显，然而我会给Will Sharpe的directorship打到及格以上。大概因为私人的原因以及猫奴本质，格外喜欢这部片子的叙事以及色调，即使知道Louis Wain终身被精神疾病困扰，即使知道他与Emily的时光只有短短几年，但伴随着心碎的是那电光火石的情感迸发的瞬间，也就是在那一刻，你让我看见这世界美丽的一面。---“You are a prism through which that beam of life refracts."

    审美拉满，男主角性格奇葩，和妻子的部分最是好看，好多少女感满满的画面。猫咪真的太可爱了，画作也很棒。日本人拍这个，调调喝酒镜头感真的好。

    三星半。福田知盛将服化道完全融于视听语言，令传记题材有了很强作者性。尽管剧本主体略显常规，但执行力突出。尤其是在本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇极高水准的表演下，癫狂与卑微若隐若现。奥利维娅·科尔曼细腻的旁白，与情节形成鲜明对照，恰到好处。克莱尔·芙伊不错，但安德丽娅·赖斯伯勒非常抢眼。猫党的狂欢。
