The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 七个独立的小故事组成的，每一部的画风都很美，但是节奏有一点点慢。结束之后一直在思索，为啥要叫《向着明亮那方》，也许这部片子不会在动画市场掀起很大波澜，而且每个小故事都很简短，无法与其他大制作比拟。但正是有这样一群群热爱动画的人们在努力，才会不断有新鲜有趣的动画被搬上荧幕，感动更多人。这个名字也是给从业者的鼓舞吧，是希望。
适合小学生以上的儿童观看，作为大人，我很喜欢，故事很好。

国产加一星鼓励。但严格来说都不是很出色的作品，他们只是生活的一隅，照映在绘本上而已。
粗犷的画风用来写实 带着丢失了很多细节又努力回忆起的气息
《小火车》：向着光亮，走出阴霾。《蒯老伯的糖水铺》：时代在变，不变的是人情味。《哼将军和哈将军》：“水火不容”的两小兄弟，感叹真实。《外婆的蓝色铁皮柜轮椅》：记忆翻涌，汇成思念。

温暖，第一个故事有点一般，最喜欢外婆和外公的那两篇
画风特别童风的反而让我觉得并没有儿童视角，可能是我长大了。
