The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 如此政治的topic之下是对个人经历最诚恳的叙述，但happening的标题以后半段无比生猛的表现力又令观众很难不去联想到许多女性遇到的共同困境，更表现出第二波女权运动的口号“个人的即政治的”这一口号

十数周的隐忍煎熬和三次反抗，女性在捍卫自己权利的同时付出了巨大的代价，社会舆论，违法边缘，自身事业的牺牲相较而言，身体的痛楚反而是最小的，然而却给予观众最直观的视觉和情感冲击。“只有女人才会得的病，它使她们变成家庭主妇”是最直白的控诉和抗议
女性相比男性面临着巨大的生育风险，学会正确的生理知识和避险意思非常重要。即便是现在允许堕胎，其对身体和精神的影响也不容小觑。
作为一个男性，我看了之后感受那种下面被踹的重痛。由衷敬佩这个女主角，以及赞叹能拍出这种有如此感官冲击力的电影的制作团队。
