The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 施来德拍的还是很稳，Bill这个有着不光彩过去但是急切想洗心革面的人物塑造的很成功，人物性格习惯设置合理，细节全部到位。虽然是赌场为背景，但是完全跟赌博没关系，赌博完全服务于人物塑造。片子整体有一种七八十年代电影的老派沉稳，但是永不过时的feel。PS，Oscar的屁股也太翘太好看了吧。
摄影有布列松那味，但是一看到男主屁股那么大就又……不是那味。长镜头监狱那段，真的挺帅。
这种题材居然一点镜头语言都没有 还不如看美剧
3.5，施拉德似乎在重复同一种主人公，精神创伤的男主角走向自我毁灭的道路…“宗教性”庄重的色调和构图，真是我看过最压抑的公路片了…

老中青三代男神都救不了的拉胯。9分的摄影风格，1分的剧本和对白。装逼过头的莫名其妙
形式上的性冷淡感拉的满满的，如同故事的底色般苍白。
没有那么差，但是本来以为是什么酷酷的赌博电影结果看到一半才发现是要救赎温情，前面半个小时真挺不知所云的，而且算牌扑克和审讯ptsd两条线好割裂。
