The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这片的迷之高分有点不理解，画面色调比较复古，有点西部片的样子，但剧情实在拉跨，比利小子成了比利老头子，修身养性了还教育下一代要成为温柔的绵羊，拜托老大，那是蛮荒西部啊，拼手速比狠劲的年代啊，那样教育下一代能活过十岁吗?枪战场面太低幼了，仅有的二场枪战就像童子军在露营，你可是西部传奇啊，虽然英雄迟暮也不至于过家家吧，完全没有表现出比利小子的凶悍与经验，本片这个农夫与蛇的故事也根本不可能发生啊。不知道导演想表达个啥，比利小子的顿悟?其儿子的成长?貌似啥都看不出来，这样拍西部片，这个类型真的就没必要再复辟了。
如今越来越少的西部片就会越来越突出它特有的格调
即便老了，比利还是那个令人闻风丧胆的比利小子。
西部爽片，节奏把握不错，渐入佳境很吸引人。
Billy the Kid不是哪个被枪击的倒霉孩子，而是美国拓荒史上的一个传奇人物。亦侠亦匪，且枪法极快。

西部传奇“比利小子”的另一个版本，典型的西部套路。
西部片的还魂，非常简单老派的故事，但就是男主这种老糙汉形象丰满了人物。
很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。
