The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 揣摩和想象一种挣扎、无爱而又无从前进的生活状态，并非是深入骨髓的痛，也非互相控诉就能缓解的茅塞顿开；靠灵修、靠宠物、靠酒精，却终不能自愈。最开始为极少文本的行进感到无奈，但看到夫妻俩双双戴着口罩，足以想起疫情之下那些因为“听说”而知晓的周遭被困于其中的伴侣状态”，就豁然明朗于它的表达。有些可惜的是小三那场戏，在这里被作为一个提醒着收尾的“高潮”，却多少因为太戏剧冲散前面所有仔细铺垫的“内感”；能换个方式，或许有更多余味。
金马影帝/后，演绎了情节严重不足的：婚姻困局。

真实婚姻片子。妻子参加了那么多修行，仍然无法找到出口。如果最后妻子把丈夫溺死在酒店浴缸的话，那这部片就应该叫解脱。小狗可爱，片尾钢琴bgm好听。

我觉得分数给低了，整部片除了结尾有些俗套，启始情节，动画效果，台词都还算不错，一些小梗更是玩得很溜，比如作为彩蛋出现的花妞。#20211121
荤段子合集，搞笑的地方蛮多，爆笑的地儿也有，但多数时候是尬笑😂。
陈湘琪和黄柔闽都演得有点好，让人有点害怕。
