The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 年轻人经过九年义务教育以及大城市教育后，回到村里的处处不兼容。这种尬滋味一言难尽
其实重点不在于年轻一代的情爱纠葛上，在于妈妈对传统观念的抽离（也是妈妈这个演员选的好撑起了整个情节）…而这个问题像是地域性又不是地域性的，这就会给人一种是在抹黑还是在写实的错乱感
有点感人但不多。这个剧情的模板很熟悉，把矛盾架在潮汕文化习俗中很巧妙（当然也确实是源于创作者的真实背景）。而越南电影《再见妈妈》则是把类似套路用在了LGBT的出柜矛盾中。
感情很细腻。
三星半，和两个潮汕妹子一起去看的，从影院出来她们又给我讲一些电影里的梗，以及现实里这对情侣的结局，生活高于影视，生活会给出答案。
致我的前任。曾经邀请我去潮汕过年，后来没有机会了，通过电影弥补一点遗憾。

前半段像快手版生活记录，后半段温情感人。剧中的女性妈妈奶奶都好可爱。但是女主就，我的确一丝一毫不想多看。
据说整部电影基本上都是素人演员
男朋友（潮州人）带我去看的这部电影，他说还挺好看的…整部电影的故事其实很简单，但还蛮真实的，小城市里的故事，爱情与亲情的牵绊，虽然故事挺平淡的，但还是莫名其妙地哭了（自己的泪点实在太低了！）没有太多的感同身受，但还是为他们的故事感到高兴与幸福。
太潮汕生活了。 感觉不是看电视 而是在看自己回家的记忆。
真的好，整个节奏，叙事结构，演员的表演，配乐，喜剧上对预期的打破都把握得很到位。
