The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看完恐怖片系列94：新鲜。剧情发展完全能猜得到。刚开始以为是像逃出杀人镇那样的，没有想到居然这么普通。
无论是对疫情的描写还是对人物的刻画，都显得恰到好处，女导演的视角真的是很细腻，一部很舒服的故事片。

矛盾的解决稍微lazy writing了一些，过于容易意料到了；在性别元素上也过于对立且直白，并不是故事真的需要的，否则能去四星半。三星半吧。
