The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 在学校在家里都找不到认同感和价值感的女儿，在超市偷东西的时候，已经想要打破这种悲哀的生活了，车开过来的时候她没有闪躲，而是闭上了眼。然而她死后，还是没人能真正懂她，暴躁的父亲，被追究的可怜的超市小哥，大家都被卷入这个追责事件里，不断被追究到底是谁害死了女孩。是谁啊。是这个社会，是构成这个压抑社会的每一分子

表演出色，喜劇性強。但一切盡在預料，缺乏驚喜或震動。總體而言是有趣的片子，值得一看。
