The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 片中 血汗工厂 只是冰山一角 ，大量青壮年劳动力，为了摆脱家庭贫困 ，落入了黑心工厂 。男主从一个受害者 ，逐渐转变成助纣为虐的 施暴者，是人性中弱肉强食的变换 ，有深度 。
