The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很喜欢这种小清新的调调，一个男孩的成长是依照着父亲的模样，对于父权的未知让男孩的成长遇到了这群叔叔，他一直在寻找的父亲形象，其实一直在他的身边。
