The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 虽然明显垂垂老矣，但那种对电影和风格的坚持，还是让人愿意看下去。老头子真的太厉害。
剧本很烂，老爷子老态龙钟谈不上啥演技，就当风景片看看吧，没什么意思。
东木老爷子90多岁还亲自导&演，不知道会不会是最后一部。片中许多细节都使人动容，音乐也很赞。要爱护老年人。爱啊…

一切就是那么回事儿
三星半。老爷子出手质量还是能保证的，一老一少一只战斗鸡，一段穿越边界线的旅程，这部片子里善良的人比较多。
如果不是东木老爷子自导自演的电影，你会觉得这是一部平庸之作，都是情怀吧，电影本身不值得

本该是他最擅长的西部公路片，但节奏很缓慢，并不出彩。东木老爷子的确是老了，老到驯服野马只能使用远景替身+本人上身近景的方式呈现，就连说台词和走路都有一种无力感。
东木老爷爷精神可嘉，不过衷心希望这部不会是您的息影之作啊。
