The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 以一处音乐剧的形式讲述一个音乐剧届的传奇，恰到好处。另，也想问个问题，是不是有年龄焦虑的人都注定命途多舛？
谁都是曾经绚烂缤纷热情洋溢和这个世界碰撞燃烧着，但也会流于平淡失去光泽。
可能是这类故事我真的看太多了，不管有多喜欢seasons of love，对这部的感受也只是一般【当然有的歌还是不错的】
最后有点感人，加菲老了但露出脆弱一面的时候还是像小朋友
没有必须坚持的梦想或信仰
稍微失望了，但是加菲深情的眼神我可以加一星
开篇很棒。作为传记电影，材料编织甚至做到了让观众能理解“生平+编剧叙事”双结构的程度，这一点相当不错。
加菲的影帝提名作。每年都会出一两部音乐片，但我不太感冒
把本身的情节和Jon剖白式的独角戏交织，让叙事更加完整，也将属于舞台和电影的东西独立开来，使二者的存在与交融显得更加和谐，加菲的演绎也让其中那些创作者的挣扎与坚持，显得分外动人。
就还好吧，大部分歌都有点平，故事也不够出彩，现在的传记片都不知道拍谁能拍出新意了。。（有点觉得加菲演不了30岁的人了😭

Movie of the year. A blessing for any theatre/musical lover or idealist. Story about 90s, Broadway, New York, creativity, love, fear, time, and life. Don’t mind Lin’s rusty directing, the emotions are so raw. R.I.P. Stephen Sondheim, who passed away just after the release of this film. We all have, and will always have a song unsung.

错过了两次《Rent》的现场，先来看这部作者的传记片，音乐剧一般的底子是本片最大的看点，虽然比不上音乐剧的现场感，也继承了音乐剧单薄的剧本，但利用各种视听化的手段，加上不断出现的滴答倒数声，结合叙事手法与剪辑加强了节奏，将人物的情绪融进了音乐，形成了美妙的视听享受。加菲的演绎也非常卖力，将一个才华横溢的音乐人，在而立之年的倒数时刻，面对友情与爱情，现实和理想，生与死的痛苦抉择和焦虑感展现出来。灵感源于生活，Jonathan强大的感知力将生活的喜怒哀乐通过旋律与歌词，如此有才华，如此热爱生活的人英年早逝实在太可惜了，正因如此，才更显生命的可贵。8.2
创作者大概是最不能平衡工作和生活的吧。整个人好像分裂成两个，一个还在惯性关心着亲友，一个已经游离出去在想怎么把这个素材好好用起来。又焦虑又冷漠。但是没办法，对于有天赋的人来说，没有什么比创作更重要。最极致的痛苦和甜蜜都因创作产生。唯一美中不足的是加菲唱的一般。/《Superbia》那段几个歌手应该是专业的，Sextet Montage那段那个卷发女生唱得好好！另外力荐《Rent》好吗，有机会看的都去看！
