The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 有点遗憾的是，电影中不论是亲密关系的话题还是关于身体与权力的话题都没有得到期待中的深入探讨，许多话题就匆匆结束了。但在当代中国的语境下，这样的对话已然显得足够刺耳且具有反思性。演员从肉体到演技都恰到好处，举手投足张弛有度，这样的空间大概是最考验演员的吧。不过现在看这种话痨电影感觉有点疲惫。
论职业操守和工作能力的重要性！话剧式电影，很有前瞻性，哀而不伤。

在nancy和leo之间来回共情，忍俊不禁、泪流满面。前者是女性的和身体的那一层，后者是内心的、精神的那一层。
非亲密关系也可以很美，互相照亮过就是珍贵。

这部电影就是一个fantasy.
不过不失的话剧电影，表面开放其实内核保守得像美国人写的剧本，相比之下几年前Sally field那部Doris倒显得大胆了。
观影体验并不差，实际上如同很多评论所描述的一样清新畅快并且享受男主美好的脸庞和肉体。但当影片结束意识到这是两个几乎工整到完美的角色在水晶球里表演体面和愉悦，就只能衬托得它试图谈讨的现实的性与欲望更加残忍丑恶。影片意图是美好的，但呈现是伪善的。
情绪波澜春潮涌动时的配乐像是轻轻撩动火花明灭时的呻吟。

角色场景都如此之少，却一点也不乏味。无尿点看完全片，跃跃欲试哈，国内哪里找😏
