剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     电影这种struggle真的很real…作为亚洲酷男在北美的身份认同，完全是个不想提的话题。不过电影把这些大张旗鼓的全抛出来，娱乐和观赏性欠缺了些

    看得出来预算有限，但是这也不是拍成流水账的理由。作为极地探险片，没有拍出惊险刺激的感觉，雪橇失控和遇到北极熊都拍的中医中矩。而后半段作为绝境求生片，没有把绝境下的资源匮乏、心理煎熬拍出来，感觉一直有燃料和食物，在屋子里等就好了，而且突然做个梦就跑回去拿冒险笔记也是没有给出一个理由，令人费解。

    这确实是真实现实接地气的“同性爱情（这四个字可以随意排列组合）”故事，不管是在美国还是东亚。有时候真的觉得那些被封为经典的同性片中的同性形象只是迎合部分女观众，现实中很多同也许就是本片中的样子，有欢乐有烦恼有性有爱但愁苦相对来说少一点。

    一部关于stereotype和反stereotype的电影。其实真的比我想象好太多，现在想想自己其实也是带着成见看的（这片名和海报；一群gay去一个岛狂欢的题材；然后还有对杨伯文本人的认知hello？！），钢铁直男都会知道有点什么。。。然后你就变成了岛上的人——大家都有着自己的刻板印象。然后有意思的是一边吐槽着一边又上演着各种刻板印象，which又非常得gay！这种自说自演和反复横跳，还是有趣的！
