The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 法国中世纪真实历史故事，仿罗生门的三段视角结构，熬过前俩节，才发现看上去两个渣男决斗的噱头下，竟然是观照当代的女性主义宣言强音。观影前我跟M君说有一种预感，这次奥斯卡该给耄耋雷公一个最佳导演了吧——他马上还有一部古驰家族公映，真是老骥伏枥。片中最抢眼一枝独放的当下末路狂花朱迪科莫应该值得一枚影后。而波士顿好基友呆萌和大本再次联手改编剧本，明显立意先行的政治正确MeToo标签或遭指摘，可是只要为被侮辱被损害被遮蔽女性发出的声音都值得嘉许。PS 其实是四星半 但是在女权主义或女性主义被污名化的当下 我要给附加分 即使这也是被诟病的部分 特别是看到IMDB 7.7和Metascore 67的时候
三个男人都散发刺鼻的有毒气息：让、雅克、皮埃尔。最好的生活是死了老公后的庄园主生活。结尾镜头在我脑中和Pieces of a woman的结尾镜头神奇地重叠了。绿草，果树，女人。女人甩脱暴力男之后的生活就是野火烧不尽春风吹又生。
三幕递进其实还挺考验女主表演功底的。
在靠暴力角力的中世纪，女人自然是男人麾下的棋子。影片雷声大雨点小，总感觉拍成“罗生门”太多余了。雷老爷子还是钟情这清冷的“黑场字幕唱诗班”画风。大本演的是个昏君吧？造型太朋克了。
