The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 期待有多高，失望就有多大。女武神的祝福是北欧人的胡子吧，剪掉胡子和头发后的王子战斗力弱到只剩下肌肉和“见光死”的剑。
（5.3/10）比起《女巫》和《灯塔》，《北欧人》始终缺乏神秘与危险。艾格斯对《王子复仇记》的改编有一丝现代的感觉，但大部分时间都在按部就班。男性主导的故事中，女性角色的戏份有所增加，其形象却并不丰满。即使连艾格斯最拿手的神话传说元素，都显得格外生硬，可有可无。

3星半，从主题表达到视听语言，野性与暴力的因子无处不在，罗伯特·艾格斯创作风格近一步向商业片靠近，不知是喜还是忧？
太有欧洲电影节的味儿了，摄影拉满，剧情简单但必须复刻莎翁。给高分主要是因为摄影太好了，如果导演能把逼格放下那该多好……
画面质感可太好了，把一个传统的王子复仇记拍的神神叨叨粗旷又原始，挺好

自从玩过《塞纳的牺牲》之后，北欧人都是宗教疯子这种想法已经挥之不去。
作为莎翁原型故事的原型，拍口耳相传的folklore故事，神神叨叨的豪横调度和怎么横移推拉也不怕露怯的长镜，不但是有带投资了之后的任性，更有栩栩展开历史画卷重温导演悚人民俗美学的意谓，在那个土鳖懊恼特土鳖的戏剧核心上，真是现实不得不往预言上靠，这么一看，所谓现实主义神话传说，那不就是民俗吗......

对维京民俗不是很感冒，但是其中的cult art show太赞了，直呼内行！导演考虑考虑专职发展cult片吧。
对维京史诗，“王子复仇记”永远没有抵抗力。
